Black Elektronika - No More Party

Great sonic aesthetics in between tech-house and classic house vibes

.DJ and producer Black Elektronika knows a thing or two about crafting explosive beats and lush sonic textures. His blend of house music is fierce, direct and unapologetic, with powerful melodies complementing the essential punch of the beats and the cascading layers of blissful tone.

Released on Rebellious Records (RBD109), This EP is a powerhouse of groove and great energy, perfectly combining the catchy hooks of house music with the cut-through edge of techno.

The title track is punchy and direct, with an ever-evolving set of melodies leading to a stunning climax. The b-side of this release, Pusher, is another original mix following the same tempo, but a different key. The track stands out for the clear and present melodic elements, as well as for the rich, saturated tone of the beat.

This release is already receiving so much positive attention and feedback, so much so that it even scored a great spot on Beatport’s top 100 char.

Transmute- Black Elektronika

Black Elektronika is an amazing album with complicated tempo fluctuations peppered throughout the intricate track listings. I really enjoyed the stutter steps between the breaks and instrumentation especially with the kick-off track at the beginning of the album. The first track “Silema” definitely sets the tone for the rest of the album with melodic samples and synthesized chord progressions. It almost has a video game 8-bit feel to the composition that I really found to be innovative in regards to the other songs. The hard-hitting percussion of the music uses side chain compression that gives it that pumping feeling without taking too much out of the actually beat itself. The low end really complimented the mid range frequencies as well throughout the album with smooth sounding Rhodes piano keys accompanied with lush and dirty bass sounds - This made for a really intrinsic contrast. One of the best songs on the album is “Techno Drug” and the title says it all with so many complex overheads with a grimy synth automated throughout the song. There were a lot of third- world instruments that contributed to the success of this album that were not so common in the electronic realm - this added depth and versatility to the mixes that was unprecedented for this artist. I think the conclusion of this album is so many different styles of music all put into a hybrid form of instrumentation that Black Elektronika utilizes with perfection such as deep house, smooth house, techno and many other art forms. For a musician, this is a very tough task to do and Black Elektronika does it with ease due to his professional understanding and utilization of sound.

"Black Elektronika is a very talented artist whose style resonates with several captivating genres of music. Black Elektronika’s newest single, “Techno Drug”, will be a must buy track available on multiple digital and tangible platforms. His music uses a lot of creative components that really color the compositions on this new sing. Some of which include excellent chord progressions and psychedelic patterns that heighten the versatility of his music. Techno Drug contains a mixture of upbeat pieces peppered with a modern electronic style in addition his own authentic sound. Black Elektronika has established an original sound that takes vintage concepts of earlier trance music; fusing them into a new and improved contemporary sound. In addition, the instrumental harmonics really mesh well with this type of music and adds yet another impressive dynamic to his professional status as a musician. I loved the analog warmth of this single; it brings out an older kind of sound where saturators were prevalent from tape distortion. You can tell that Black Elektronika puts in a lot of work, not only in the studio, but on an engineering aspect as well.

The instrumentals are very clear and parallel processing (pumping) really cuts through the mixes, which is uncommon of independent artists today. Most independent artists just want to push any song out no matter what the quality; you have to respect an artist who puts that much time and dedication into their songs. The panning, effects, reverbs, and delays create an exciting experience for the listener. I would recommend listening to it with headphones to take in the minute details that highly distinguish the character of the songs. The Equalization and compression is done very professionally as well. I am really excited to see this musician blossom and it seems as though he has found his true north in the music industry. Check out Black Elektronika’s newest song “Techno Drug”– now available on beatport. if you want to hear innovative, conscious music that is leading this genre in the right direction!”
